Hi SKYKING, and welcome to the forum!
First buying an M4, If you don't have one available at a local shop and want to buy online I'd check Gunbroker or Ables. Here are some of the current offerings:

The Titanium tubes are not made by Benelli but they are of extremely high quality. Better than Benelli OEM. they are made by Kip at Carriercomp. You won't be sorry if you get one.

As for sights I'm guessing you mean a red dot? Aimpoint T1
(as seen here in StrangerDanger's post) usually get a lot of votes around here. Several members seem to like Burris Fast Fire II as well. I just run Meprolight Tritium irons at the moment but here's a pick of my M4 with an Aimpoint ML-3

I inspected the rail afterward to check for any damage to the top rail. None was observed. Not even any kind of contact marks.

C'mon guys...SOMEONE has an OEM PG stock they are willing to sell...
Mesa PG stocks are supposed to be coming out in Feb/March. That might increase the supply of available Benelli OEM PGs if you haven't found one by then, but I agree, there should be one around.

We're all still waiting for your next product. Christmas is coming up soon and I told Santa I want a ti charging handle, a true mil spec rail, and a muzzle brake for my M4 Assault shotgun...oh yeah and peace on earth and good will toward men.

Yeah... I'd like to see a post/review by someone who's tried the Sidearmor Super Nova rail. We have plenty of info around here on the M4 model but nothing for the SN.
Has anyone tried it?

Sidearmor offers a rail system for the Super Nova which would offer you multiple mounting location options for tac. lights and optics. Here's a link:

Hmm, I'll have to ask them. I never thought about that...
On another note... when I noticed the sight adjusted all the way to the left, I found I could slide the rear sight towards the right with just finger pressure, and when I let go... it would snap back to the far left. Does anyone else's sight do this?
(I have since adjusted it back to the center, but have not seen if it's moveable and I don't have it with me to check right now)

I just tried it on mine and yes.... If I run the rear sight all the way to the left to the point that it's past the detent click positions and just beginning to unscrew the adjustment screw, I can pull the sight to the right and it snaps back left. I figured it would once you're past the adjustment point but wanted to make sure for you. I haven't really messed with it since I installed my Meprolight sights. As long as your feeling the detent clicks as you turn the adjustment screw I think your sight is fine and someone is messing with you.

Took my M4 out to the skeet range yesterday. Normally I can do very well... but yesterday I was only hitting about 5% of the clay pidgeons. Yes... 5%. I was frustrated with myself... until I looked at my rear sight and saw that it moved all the way to the left. I used a shotgun shell's rim to turn the screw to realign the rear sight back towards the center, but wasn't able to shoot again as I had run out of ammo.
Umm... has this happend to anyone else? I have no idea how the rear sight moved on me. I did transport it to the range in the back of a SUV with no case, but it was held in place by some other bags/cases so it wasn't banging around.

You might want to disassemble the rear sight and check out the condition of the parts. Is it possible that one of your jealous non- Benelli owning friends with a screwdriver is messing with you? Keep us posted,

Yeah that doesn't sound so good. I expected a little better results from something that they market towards LE professionals. Did it clump like that every time? I'll let you know if I get similar results.

Thanks for the test report! I picked up 10 boxes of the Federal 000 at a show a while back but haven't shot any of it yet but I'll take some to the range to test against some other loads. Did you try out the Tac-8? and if so, how did it perform?

Let us know what you think about the TAC 8. I picked some up a while back but haven't had a chance to do my pattern tests with it yet. Hopefully, I'll try it out sometime in the next two weeks.

I am a fan of both, but I think for what I want to do, the surefire would look better because it would still leave the Barrel exposed up to the receiver up top. The only reason I am thinking about snatching up some new hand guards is for the bottom rail which will give me the option of snapping on a collapsable forward pistol grip, when I am out of California of course

None of those options are offered in tan. You'd have to look at doing your own finish or having it done. Here are a couple pics. The first is my M4 with the KZ and the second is the Sidearmor and Surefire together

2 out of 3.....? Not so good... Hopefully Benelli CS passes this stuff on to the factory so they can tighten up the QC on this issue. Congrats though on the 14 day turn-around. Now you have all the pieces to your puzzle. Looking forward to seeing a pic.

Thats like saying all M4's look the same and as of late that is anything but the truth. The most recent batch of M4's recievers are a color I have come to expect on a cheap AK knockoff.
I also noticed a large difference between the finish on the receiver of my M4 and a new one at the local shop. Mine is a lot "blacker" My M4s finish is very much the same as the finish of my M1S90.

I was just wondering if anyone else has found an alternative hand guard? and if anyone knew if they made the Quad in a Tan finish? Just looking to keep upgrading this bad boy. Great Weapon. Thx.
The Fab is probably the worst choice of what's out there. There are fit issues if you have the 11707. People usually need to take a dremel to them to make them fit.
KZ, Sidearmor, Surefire and Brugger & Thomet offer rail systems. The KZ and B&T are the closest to the design of the FAB (but much better quality)

Nice, I remember your thread on this. I was thinking the Sidearmor rail.. would I need the long or short side rails?
Also what light is that, I like that it's compact to the side of the gun. As I recally you have a pressure switch on the other side.
What benefit is there to also having the surefire rail?
For optics I was looking for something smaller. Is the T1 micro good? I guess I would need a short mount.
Lastly, reccomend a good bolt lever and release button. The stock on is too tiny.

The Sidearmor comes with one long rail which I use on the left side because I have both a switch and a Daniel Defense sling swivel there. A short rail is fine on the right since all that is mounted is a light (although in the picture I also have a long one on the right. The shorter one will save a little weight)
The light is a Streamlight TLR-1 (135 lumen) with the long gun remote switch backplate
The Surefire M80 is there for 922r compliance (I'm not whining Unobtanium!
) as I've since added Kip's FL tube and Brownells follower (there we go about Kip's tube again...)I'm not actually running optics on mine. I had just got that Aimpoint ML 3 for my SOCOM and stuck it on there for fun but it actually seemed pretty nice on there. I've looked at a lot of options but for the moment I'm sticking with my Meprolight night sights only. If I was to run something though I'd probably get the T-1 on the American Defense or A.R.M.S. mount. Although, as Unobtanium has noted, Your cheekweld might not be ideal with the Benelli PG stock. There may be improvement on that front though when Mesa comes out with their Urbino stock with the cheek riser.
For a larger bolt release I'd probably pick the GG&G pad. I've thought about getting one but for the moment I think I'm happy with the stock button. As for the larger charging handle I'm going to wait for Kip's.

Yeah, mine released a little at a time. It was a kind of "heat/turn a little/heat/turn a little" process till it was about 1/3 of the way out a which point it unscrewed the rest of the way fairly easily.
