M4 full length magazine tube just says "US" in very small, very hard to read lettering right near the base of the tube (receiver side). Is this good to go or does it need to say USA in big old letters? I'm worried the damn thing will get rusty and the US will disappear...

I am just a little lost, so these are going to be available or are available?

Trying to ID the tube that came on my gun, looks parkerized - and right near where the threads meet the receiver it says US. The previous owner says he got it from SWFA? The follow is red. Any clue what parts these are? Is the follower factory or US?

So is the stripped unit a guaranteed 2 position and the non stripped a 3 position?

You're probably right... I'll put it up for sale at least to see if anyone wants it. I guess I'll have to stop being cheap and just buy the 3 position one.

a little off topic, but if one had a usa full length magazine tube and follower, and the field stock, would they be in violation of 922r? i know that most of the time folks are talking about the pistol grip models. I ask because this would be a great way to get another usa part while keeping the gun stock looking, however no need to get one unless needed.

not sure on the serial, but i hate the idea of trying to put on that recoil tube. would rather stick it on a le gun.

i think a good deal would be my new pistol, and my used 10114 or whatever the non notched model number is, for someones 11721 or 11707 with the coll stock. but then again thats what i think, i might be full of ****

oh sorry i didnt mean to overlook your post. i would estimate $500...

NC but i am now realizing i will have to trade my 1014 for an 11707 for this to work. wonder how hard that would be?
