    M4 and Slugs

Is there a difference between BRI Sabots and regular Sabots?
  3. This is off topic of where the thread has drifted, but on topic with the original query...Put it on gunbroker. There is one listed now with a few bids and it is over $300.
  4. The local indoor ranges I frequent (that allow Shotgun/Rifle) do not allow birdshot, but buck/slugs are fine.
  5. I was wondering if it were even possible for the mag tube to come lose with the cap properly secured to the end of the tube.
  6. You dont really need to heat the shik out of the gun, I just did it this weekend. The receiver and tube both got hot, but I not to the point where I needed oven mits This comment was neither asked for or necessary, just wanted to join the productive conversation. Carry on.
  7. SOCOM tube received. Thanks for a great deal. Item shipped fast. Conduct business with confidence guys.
  8. That wasn't an option, but after we finished keeping score, we stopped at the rabbit stall and got some more practice in. I wasn't leading enough at first.
  9. Oh, I showed them alright I shot well IMO...considering this is the second time I have ever been sport clay shooting. Anyway I shot a 48/80 (damn rabbits).
  10. If you find someone who wants just the stock, let me know and maybe we can work something out for the tube.
  11. Thanks for all the input. Saturday was a success. No embarrassment took place, not on my behalf anyway
  12. Duggan, Thanks for the quick reply. I have not had any issues with the lighter slug loads, but I understand bird shot to be much lighter. I'll give it a test beforehand just to be sure.
  13. Long time lurker, first time poster. I was invited to participate in some skeet shooting tomorrow. Attendees will have proper bird hunting shotguns, but my only shotgun is my M4, and I'd like to get some more time in on it. Any problems participating in such festivities? I cant imagine birdshot doing anything to my gun, but I'd rather be sure before. Thanks in advance.
