I'm also curious regarding the Fiocchi load you used. It patterned really well for you, and is very reasonable. Grizz

Thanks for the reminder about their forum. If they can get the details worked out within the next couple months, that would be cool, and it looks likely. Grizz

Well, It's now mid July. Has anyone heard any updated info? I'm ready...... Grizz

I just received my tube yesterday. With Remington Express LE, Remington 12 pellet Magnum, and Federal Tactical 2 3/4" 00 BK shells (and the spring that came with it), it'll accept all 7 with room to spare. I'm fully expecting it to hold 7 with all the shells I try. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it......it's a very well made part. Grizz

I personally wouldn't pay anywhere near $675 for one. When the Urbino stock comes out for a little over $200, I'll buy it and be very happy. I don't walk around my house (or sleep) in body armor requiring a seriously short LOP. Grizz

It sure would be nice to be able to walk into a local retailer and check out both Freedom Fighter Tactical and Carriercomp products side by side, but that's simply not possible. I also would have found a review from a knowledgeable person that had both very informative, but I never found that either. Sooooo, what did I do? I ordered a Carriercomp tube yesterday, based on the positive reviews I've read and the somewhat cheaper price compared to the FFT. I'm sure I'll be completely satisfied. When I queried CC about their upcoming forearm panels with integrated picitanny rail, I was told they're still in development. No other company I'm aware of is developing a replacement handguard that isn't full length picatinny rail, so that's very cool in my book. I like to give my money to someone that's making the products that I want to buy. As soon as I receive it in a few weeks, I can give a detailed review right here. If someone that lives in my area wants to meet me somewhere with their FFT tube (after I get mine), that would be awesome also. Grizz

Is it brand new? Did it previously disassemble/assemble easily? I'd say it would take a serious impact to cause trauma worthy of binding the barrel in the action. Grizz

My M4 weighs almost 2 pounds more than my 18" Win 1200 w/ mag extension, and there's no comparison between the way the two recoil. The M4's stock also fits me pretty well, which I'm sure is a factor. If you can find one in a local store, have her try it on. If it fits and she can keep it pointed for a reasonable length of time, she should be good to go. I've never used them, but I've read multiple times that ported tubes really don't cut down on recoil. I also agree that a shotty isn't a good car SD solution. A 4 inch medium frame revolvers' what I recommend for that. Grizz

I just saw info on this stock on tacticalmilsim.com. Looks like exactly what I've been looking for.....shorter LOP, QD sling swivel socket, made in USA. Very cool!! Grizz
