i have taken a closer look at the vickers VCAS cobra padded sling, seems very well made, all metal hardware, quick release, quick adjustment. http://www.blueforcegear.com/product.cfm?type=cat&cat_id=&prod_id=135 best sling i've ever seen (though i haven't seen many). i'm just not sure how to make that work with QD.

what do you think of the Daniel Defense or Gearsector QD mount?

you mean the vickers VCAS slings from blueforcegearDOTcom? do you also use their Push button QD swivel and QD mount?

incredible, there is this ONE website designing company that must be earning millions! just check out gearsector, american defense, daniel defense and surely a lot more. you get the impression all those companies belong together, forming the industrial military complex though the design really is great.

let me show you what i plan to do: -first of all, the sidearmor rail system. already ordered, gonna take a while. -mepro night sights. are there any better available? with white inserts around the tritium maybe? -charging handle from Kip, as soon as he offers it. -GG&G release button, if i feel the need. -trulock tactical choke, already ordered. -a laser/light combo, not sure which one, additional IR would be nice. -sling with QD, i'm open for opinions. -either aimpoint t-1, compM4s, or an eotech X***-0 or 553A65BLK. i know its pretty tacticool, but thats intended let me hear your thoughts!

i just searched the web, and, as posted in another thread, found that: http://www.mesatactical.com/index.php?id=60 if you scroll down a bit, you see the Push-button Sling Swivel Mount especially made for the telescoping stock. has anyone tried that? might be the only solution for now.... i'm not sure yet which light to use, probably a light/laser combo. i know, not everyone is a fan of lasers, but its tacticool

so its not an aggressive green that i'll notice at the first glance, but rather a green tone in the black color?

can someone post a picture of that greenish color? cant seem to find it on the first post. is that a problem that occurs only in the latest productions? coz i'm getting a (hopefully) brand new M4 tomorrow. and it better be black!

do the mepros really have a white housing so you can use them during the day? on the manufacturers website it seems as if the housing is just black.

i'll think about it, though it have never heard of any problems with the OEM springs... the sling is of more importance to me, especially as there are about 2000 companies who produce slings & mounts. what do you guys use?

which springs is kip using?

you mean because there is no way of attaching a QD mount on the rear?

the sidearmor adds 16 oz i think. it is much more solid than the mesa tactical saddle, and gives you a great option to add a weaponlight. and if you think 4 shells are not enough, don't worry, mister costa is already creating a second shell holder that mounts on the existing sidearmor setup, so you will have a total of 8 shots if you want. i got the OEM full length tube, it's legal in europe.

hey guys. i'm getting my brand new M4 delivered tomorrow. it will be 18", full lenght mag tube, collapsible stock (i'm from europe ) sidearmor complete package is already ordered, as well as the trulock tactical choke. only a few things left to do: -what sling AND sling mount do you recommend? -should i get an aftermarket follower and mag spring? optics and light has yet to be decided, for now just those two questions. kind regards

i was also wondering who makes the best QD sling mounts? btw is Gear Sector in any way connected with American Defense? their website design is pretty similar.

the advantage of the trulock is, that it is only one piece, the briley is two pieces. plus i dont like the looks of the briley. i ordered the trulock for my m4 about a week ago, but they're on backorder

Mepro? €: and a quick question: how many positions does the OEM collapsible stock have? 2? i know, i could wait the two days till my OWN m4 with 18" barrell, mobilchoke and collapsible stock arrives, but DAMN i need to know now!
