Hey guys, hate to interupt the political thread, but this should only take a second.... Got my self 2 kz rail systems for my twin M4's and I was trying put one together last night and Im having a bit of a problem... Seems pretty straight forward, though they didint come with instructions... Im guessing that you are to remove the barrel and slide the rail over it, then slide that over the mag tube, and should all lock together. But my probelm is it doesnt slide over the stock dummy +2 mag extension tube. The extension tube gets wedged in the bottom of the inside of the KZ rail. Is this normal? I have ordered 2 kip's tubes but for the time being, I have the extention tubes installed. Do any of you all know if this rail wont work withthe extension tubes or am I installing them wrong? TIA!

Very nice kit... Comes in a pretty cool little duffle bag with a very plush inner velvet liner. I like the bore cables better than the steel/brass rods, seems faster to me and this kit comes with a ton of them in different lengths and diamiters. there's my 2 cents....

Zee... thats so obvious it didnt cross my mind, great advice!!! Skeet ( Mr Sarcastic... LOL ) no, this is an older freind of mine who had them stored in boxes for like 15 years... he says he forgot about them... he lives by the beach so its fairly humid.. Even the silica gel pacs he had in the box with them didnt help... so yea... its worth geting all the junk out of them and saving the mags... they are bucks to replace!

I am just going thru some old stuff on a freind and I did tell him that leaving a mag loaded for 15 years is a bad thing... might have to(more then likely, more to the point) replace the follower and the spring in the mag, but those are far less expensinve than replacing the mag itself... HK mags are BUCKS!!!! thanks for the insight guys!

I appreciate the response but the main question here is basically, is it safe to handle corroded/corroding ammo. I dont want to loose a hand or part of my face... or anything else for thatmatter... I dont intend on reusing the ammo... I will despose of it properly... I just want to save the magazines.... TIA

What the heck does one do about ammo that has rusted inside a magazine (HK/223)... the Mags are reusable, they didnt do much of the rusting, but is it safe to handle? I have never seen ammo rust like this, the brass is pretty green and crusty. I guess what I want to know is , is it safe to handle? Any recommendations on how to get the ammo out of the mags? thanks in advance boyz!

What would be the longest shot you would have to make? Im thinking the modified that comes with the M4 is good for anything between 7 to 50 feet... I have a Breacher Choke on mine and it tightens up the group by a fractional ammount @ 50 feet. Also I think the barrel length is in play here... what Shottie you refering to?

Where is this thing made? If its Swiss, it may be as pretty as a Rolex, but may not be worth it for the 922r effect, how does that work... if it isnt made in the USA..... It is a fine looking add on!
