Well I "NEED" to buy me some forearms for my m4's (2), so what will it be, the KZ or the Surefire? Any one have any experience with one or the other... Any strong opinions one way or the other? I know Hookster did a nice article about the KZ, but ( thanks Hook, nice job)... Im just looking for a side by side synopsis/pro's&con's.... I should mention that i do use a mesa tactiCOOL side sadle so the rail that i have on one of my M4's is replaced with it.... so I dont know if the KZ will work in that order...? Thanks Boys! Hookster, I was just at Rifle Gear ( in Costa Mesa) and they have one on sale.... 3700.... COUGH COUGH COUGH this thing is gorgeous! Too much for my blood.... My BRD prohibits me from having that much denerro all at once in one place.... Looking to put together a DMPS or CMMG .308 instead.... for about 1700 less... but you do get what you pay for.... Nice eye on the REPR~!

I was thinking of doing the exact same thing Skeet...(PM me) maybe you could lead me into a few nice cities, on the outskirts of ,say Austin or Dallas… or any other places you believe are “Nice areas” that you would live. I to want to move for the same reasons I believe you did… the problem is convincing the wife and her folks……

I Have a friend that just blessed himself with a M4, and he asked me if there is anything to do before he takes out for some practice... I initially thought , "no, should be good to go..." I took mine out and it only jammed once.... ...But then I remembered reading that someone had wrecked one because they didnt make sure it was properly lubed and such before taking out... So I ask, for clarification and opinions on the subject, "Are new firearms ready to shoot right out of the box, or is it better to strip them and lube as if you would after using them, before taking them out?" If the latter is the case, what are some important spots to check with the M4 specifically. thanks for the info in advace! Happy newyear to everyone here!

Because in into trading stocks, I also watch the furtures of commodities markets, and looks like things like coffee and grains, sugar and so on are being priced for shortages.... so Im going to make an effort to also buy rice, beans, and so forth... and water purification devices and or bottled water... better safe than sorry!

Many of us here believe, due to our insane government, that TSHTF within a year or two. Being the good scouts that we are, we are going to be as best prepared as we can. My question is, what types of foods are being purchased (ei, MRE’s, Dehydrated, Canned, Bagged, ect…) brand names, recipes, store names for purchasing such goods, and so on. Water is obvious in this case, but moreover , what are collecting as far as sustenance? I happen to be pretty partial to mountain house, its not too bad ( as good as dehydrated food can expected to be I guess) , expensive, but it lasts for a long time. Beyond that, the obvious stuff, rice, beans, pasta, things that can be vacuum packed and expect to last for a good number of years… Also you can buy it almost anywhere…. So, what are you all collecting and what are your experiences and or suggestions on such? Oh and Happy New Year Gunners!

Excelent phraseology Skeet! you nailed it! Yea... been doing this for as long as i was lawfully able to, on and off, but this year as of about April, was a record setting span of time. Dont plan on slowing down any.... dehydrated food is a good investment as well!

Well in that its a ( home defense / havin fun at the range) 12 guage and I dont really think of using beyond say 30-40 yards... Yea it does the trick... I got it at the last Gunshow that was in my area ( costa mesa) not too long ago... I Like the Shell holder as well, good stuff! solid aluminium, and replaces the rail on top, solid fit.

That spring looks ultra cheesee..... IMO

Oh and thats not to mention all the other crap... 3 eotch sights 3 tactial rail mount lights and all the other stuff to "pimp" my AR's LOL I love this game ! ! ! ! !
