You need snap ring pliers. You can get them cheap at Sears, The ring has two holes in it on each side of the opening, insert the pliers tips there.

I don't have my parts book handy, are you talking about the one in the stock or on the mag tube?

I have order many items from TSG and never had a problem.

I have an Urban ERT Sling on my M4, it can be either single point or a two point sling. I love it. Here is a video of it. Well nevermind I do not have enough posts for a link yet.
