The original contract was for a 10-day wait. In light of the changing terms, you should have a legal right to cancel the order and get a refund. Which model SNT are you trying to buy, PG or ComforTech stock and ghostrings?
-
I think the Nova has that feature also. From the description:
-
Congratulations on the Nova. Not a lot of difference between the Nova and Super Nova. The main difference with the Super Nova is the removeable stock, drilled & tapped receiver top for a scope base, and larger trigger guard. I found a 20155 on Guns America, but it says LEO sales. Is that a new Benelli policy? It changes the search results on GA or GB with Super Nova or SuperNova.
-
You want the 20155, straight ComforTech stock with ghost ring sights, same as the one I just bought. It makes a difference if you search Supernova or Super Nova. Here's one on GA: http://www.gunsamerica.com/973704050/Guns/Shotguns/Benelli-Shotguns/Tactical/Super_Nova_Tactical_20155_LE.htm I have owned five Benelli shotguns and the SNT is the first with a straight stock or pump. My daughter shot it the other day with buckshot loads and had no problem with the recoil. I really like the shotgun and think you will too.

Mine had a plug rod in it that went flying in the store when the clerk started to take it down. The rod is for reducing the capacity in the magazine. There should be a normal extension plug that stops the spring when you slide it up the extension tube before installing it over the spring. I got a NC for an M2 and it was very well made. The price of the Benelli kit was a little higher, but factor in that it includes the magazine support clamp and spring at under $100 makes it a decent value.
-
I got a Benelli +2 extension kit, 80201P that is listed to work with the Nova also. Guess what, the mag tube capacity went from 4 to 7 with 2 3/4".
-
That's been a few years ago, but as I recall it was a 20.5" bbl and the extension was just a bit shorter than the muzzle. It must have been a +4. How much longer is your stock spring than the tube w/ extension? I recall they said to start with the spring cut about 16" longer than the magazine w/ extension and no less than 10"-12" longer. As a side note, the recent Benelli +2 extension kit I installed on a SNT came with a long spring with instructions for trimming.
-
The factory kit I got for a Benelli M1 came with a longer spring that had to be cut and came with instructions for a starting length and minimum length.

I have the Elzetta QR mount with their light and think it's great. It mounts on the mag extension tube and barrel. You can use other brands of lights with it, but I'm impressed with the brightness and build quality of their light.

Does your M2 have the rifle sights? They didn't drill and tap those, probably because any kind of rail would block the sights. I got a Burris SpeedBead for a red dot and the MT Sureshell holder that carries six without the rail. The Sureshell fits perfectly, but decided to sell it and may get the 4 shell stock mount when it sells.

Did you get the comfortech stock with your M2?
-
I had an HK M1S90, added a Surefire forend and never had a malfunction. It was a great gun and rifle sights was the only option then. That's one of the reasons I was only considering Benellis this time around. Also had a M1014, but never shot it. I already got the M2, just wondered about the rail because the receiver isn't the same as the M2 with GR sights.
-
The nearest dealers are over 100 miles away and it was about a week after the rebate started before I could get there. They sold the only M4 remaining, but had some M2 shotguns with ghost ring or rifle sights. They have never had any SNT for some reason nor has either of the other two dealers in that same town.
-
Thanks for the reply. The 11054, PG w/ rifle sights, does not have the drilled and tapped holes in the top of the receiver. There is a sight channel and my concern was is there enough thickness left to mount a rail securely.
-
Are there many M2 Tactical owners here? I had been debating on whether to get a Benelli SNT, M2T, or M4. If anyone has the 11054 with RS, have you drilled and tapped the receiver for a rail?
