  1. Thanks. Ya he ended up happy but he was not at the start of the day. When the wood ducks were landing in the decoys he didn't under stand why we didn't shoot and was getting a little jumpy.
  2. 3 days out with a total of 2 Greenwings and 5 Bluewings 0 Geese
  3. My Vinci patterns great with the chokes that came with it and Hevi-Metal 3" #3.
  4. Plus the plane ticket. Good luck and happy hunting
  5. I have had it happen to me but I did not have the gun shoulder all the way when I pull the trigger.
  6. Automatic 12 gauge Super Nova? Would that be a SBE II?
  7. They are both good guns but I like the way the Vinci shoulders.
  8. The list is on Benelli web site. I didn't see a slug barrel.
  9. I never dry fired the gun before this post was started. So i'm just going to leave the safety on and the pin back like i all ways have.
  10. Ok, then I was right the first time and i'm sticking with that. The safty will not go on after it is dry fired and thats how the gun is made.
  11. This is the fist gun i own that dose this. That's ok don't be just gave me a few more grey hair's
  12. 1) You can manually toggle the safety button (on the trigger guard) no matter the position of the firing pin or its spring. In other words, you can always engage or disengage the safety. Spike are you sure about this? My Vinci safety will not go on if i dry fire my gun.

Welcome to the site and to the bother hood of Benelli.
  14. Yes one time 2 weeks in a corn field every day. But a good cleaning and it has been fine.
  15. But the Vinci 3" cost less so it may not become obsolete at all.
  16. I shot a SBE II before I got my Vinci. I like it but, I like how the Vinci shoulders better then the SBE II
  17. I like my Vinci and I like the SBE II. I would get the one that you like the best.
  18. (I can't imagine shooting 3.5" mags in a Super Vinci since it has the same trigger guard set up.) They cut off some of the back side of the trigger guard and made the safty bigger. They all so change the checking on the grip of the stock.
  19. Clubbing banded geese in a public park just for the bands. I hope they hang the sucker.
