  1. I would say if anyone was set on a Mossberg go with a 590, but I would say pick a Remington 870 before the Mossberg. I'm new to Bennili's myself but a big fan so far ... I think the general concensus is lube it good, shoot 100 rounds of heavy duty stuff to break it in and then sit back and enjoy.

  2. Thanks all ... I'm hoping not to have to use a M80, don't want to keep taking Camo parts off my M4. Once my SureFire XT07 switch arrives I'll know if I have enough room on my Briley mag mount. I don't want the edges of the switch hanging off the rail ends.

  3. wow 20 bucks for that? I made one 100% better and better quailty for 20$ about 6 moths ago. that shirt depending how many they made cost 3-4 bucks each. mine costed me around 11$

Well lets see it ... those print your own iron-ons don't last nearly as well as the commercial ones.

  4. I didn't use any specific torque settings, I just used the supplied loc-tite and tightened pretty tight with a medium sized flat head screw driver. Did you use the factory lock washers? I need to check if there are any issues with protruding screws. I have yet to go to the range with this set-up ..... TBD to see if things loosen up.

  5. You might want to consider the Sidearmor rail with quick detach shell carrier. The factory M4 rail is not up to spec and most people need to replace it in order to effectively use it. I just got this set-up and I REALLY like the ability to quickly remove the shell holder.

  6. I think a safe might be the best option as it will satisfy a few needs I have. I'm liking the Barska bio-metric models (I know, I have read the reviews, don't need Fort Knoxx) to go in my bedroom closet.

  7. Elaborate please? I would like to use something on rare occasions.

My kids are older and I don't need to worry about them being curiuos regarding the M4. It's when we have company that might have younger children/teenagers staying with us is when I would feel better locking the gun.

  8. I agree on this with one exception ... if it were just a HD gun, a laser dialed in at 10-15 yards is all that's needed. I also want to take mine to the range with targets at 50 & 100 yards so I will use the red dot for that. I also plan on taking mine on a boat and I would want something dialed in a little longer than 10-15yards plus be able to see in bright light.
