  1. Thanx for doing this! I'll order some Noveske adapters tonight. That stock Benelli pad is pretty hard. Looks like the hardest part is figuring out what to use to drill the Limbsaver
  2. I just got my 2 Limbsavers today, can't wait to hear how it shoots. Hopefully you won't feel the extension tube!
  3. I wasn't planning on changing it either till I got it and it and it seemed a bit small and slippery.
  4. You would think the FFT people would jump on this deficit to corner this market.
  5. That's what I figured... But hey, you found me a Carrier Comp Mag tube!
  6. No this is not an April Fools post! I figured I would at least ask. WTB CarrierComp Charging Handle?
  7. We're pullin' for ya! I ordered 2 Limbsavers yesterday for this Coon Hunt
  8. Howz it going with the C Stock and the Limbsaver? I just got my M4 LE today!
  9. I also assumed at first I couldn't rely on an auto loader for defense of Life, and the more I read the more I thought I could use the Benelli in defense of Life. Now I'm thinking with Hardcast shotgun slugs I can use it as a Anti Bear gun in Alaska.
  10. Nice! I'm thinking about getting a 17 or 34 and putting an RMR on it. I have one Glock Blue Label coupon left.
  11. I started out looking at Mossberg 930 SPX's. Read about them and said Ohhh Myyy, I don't want a Jam o matic. I also didn't want to spend the $$$ to get the Mossberg. Then I "discovered" the Beretta 1301. It was way more $$$ that I had started out as and it had a nasty habit of hitting a button at the wrong time and taking the gun out of action till the massive Jam was cleared. Then Versa Max, then while I'm reading all these reviews and reports are Benelli mentions about how everything was compared to the M4 and M2. And that's how you start out not wanting to spend $500 or so and ending up where I am at here at today. Spend once, cry once. I was fearful of Auto loader reliability and that's how you end up here.
  12. My M4 shipped today so I should be a gun carrying club member in a few days and not just a wannabe!
  13. The only reviews that complained about that version said, if you are shooting from cover onto a bright target that the Dot washed out. The video I saw was what a Sniper might do. The shooter was shooting from a heavily wooded area onto the side of a hill that was brightly lit with no cover. There is really no way for the electronic eye to cover that scenario. Absolute Sniper scenario. Combat situations at night would be pretty good mostly except for the same scenario where you are in real Darkness and are shooting into a very brightly lit area. I'd be curious if you run up against those settings what your thoughts are. Especially since I ain't bought mine yet...
  14. Wow, this should answer some questions for sure!
  15. I see what you are talking about, I can live with that.
  16. Does the stock need to be relieved a bit for that round hole? I agree on the right side mount. Too bad there isn't a ambi mount plate.
  17. So do you think you can replace 063J with the Noveske part?
  18. Have you ever weighed them? How did the lightened hammer spring work out for you in the end?
  19. Thanx, that was very nice of you! I had to go look at myself in the mirror and ask if I would have done that, I'm still waitin' for an answer... I need to do some more research on the trigger pack parts, I thought there wasn't a difference in trigger feel quality between them and the stock parts.
  20. This is why I asked you about the disconnector. I had left it off my list of desirable upgrades.
  21. That Safety could be fixed, thanx! I am going to order the Carriercomp next week. Any ideas how far behind they are presently? I sent a messgae last week and never heard anything back from them.
  22. I'm running to the store to lay in a cache of Popcorn! I saw your post about the RMR gaskets. I just bought some. Trijicon wanted $10 to ship them! I got them on Amazon with no shipping, so I snagged 3 of them.
  23. I'm definitely doing everything on your list above pretty much. The trigger stuff will be deferred till the end basically. I'm adding the Ti mag to get back the weight ate up by the AVAdirect and the Elzetta light. I won't do the handguards, I would rather change a trigger part if I had to. Nice thing about the LE it seems to me is I don't have to do it if I don't want to, or I can do it on my own schedule. I may ask someone how to get an answer from BATF about it. Is the disconnector that important to the pull quality? I was just gonna ignore that part? After looking at the TTI safety, the DMW does look a little better, it's a mystery why he doesn't just mill a groove and drop some red paint in it. I'm sure he's losing some sales because of that. When you are teaching people how to shoot, the Red is danger concept is a nice easy one to explain.
