You will have to let me know if it is still accurate with slugs. I used a Briley 4" extension on my M4 for a while in 3-gun, but I could not hold a group with slugs anymore. Took it off and it was back to grouping like it used to.

They actually cut into the titanium mag tube. It sure is nice to load though. Quads are no problem now.

Mine is "in the white" too, but they polished the aluminum so it looks great. I will get some pics soon. It's finals week.

I run the Carrier Comp tube with the Wolff spring that accompanied it. I also run a Nordic +2 on the end so I can get 9 in the tube, one in the chamber, and a ghost load if I am so inclined. I did not use a longer spring when I added the +2 and it has functioned perfectly. It is very important to keep the tube clean so the follower can move freely. I am always amazed at how much dirt and grime comes out of the magazine tube after a few 3-gun matches. Also, I run a patch with a little oil on it through the mag tube after cleaning. You want it pretty dry, but a super light coat seems to make the follower move a little more freely.

I will have to take a picture of mine. I had RCI (X-Rail) do mine and they opened it up more than SD has done in his photos. It is quite aggressive and on par with what you are seeing on the M2s in 3-Gun. It really made a difference in loading twins, and now I can load quads quite easily too.

What's this you say. Scalarworks makes a mount for an Aimpoint Micro?
Does it also work with the T-1? I run one of those on my 3-Gun Benelli M4. Right now I am using a low-pro mount from Midwest. Do you know if the Tangodown protective jacket will fit over the T-1 and still work with this mount?

It has an enhanced ramp on the front face of the trigger guard for loading two rounds at a time.
Does it help? Using my M4 in 3-gun, I have been loading twins for a couple of years and quads for about six months now using the stock metal trigger guard. Curious if this TG actually helps.

I am running one of these charging handles on my 3-gun shotgun. It is definitely not a safe queen and has seen some serious use. It has held up very well. I wouldn't sell mine for $500 either.

Once you figure out ghost loading, it is reliable. I do it all the time in competition without failure. The shell needs to be pushed back as far under the bolt as it will go. If you don't do this, it will jam up.

Their official stance is that you should not shoot a slug from a choke that is tighter than improved cylinder. I shoot slugs through an extended light modified choke all the time with no issues.

I would give it a look. I use an M4 in 3-Gun competition, so I am pretty familiar with how it operates and loads. Mine is heavily modified, but I'm not sure that would matter until I read what you have.

I cleaned it, but it still had a buildup of lead from slugs. That was until somebody on this forum led me to the Hoppes Tornado brush.
I have been using an Aimpoint T-1. I have used two different mounts for it. Most recently has been the Midwest industries low profile mount that allows you to co-witness the ghost-ring sights.

How much chasing do you do?
Sometimes it is bad enough that I can't hit a 11 x 22 target at 100 yards anymore. I have to start again at 25 yards and work out to 100 all over again. I thought maybe my optic was moving or my barrel was fouled.

Well, I do know I seem to "chase" my "zero." It very well could be a shift that happens when I disassemble for cleaning. I guess maybe I should never clean it

I load two at a time in competition and the stock carrier will tear your thumb up. I have the TTI and it has worked flawlessly. And I have kept the skin on my thumb.

I am the one who posted the pics of the Briley trigger group. I have fired several hundred rounds through it since then and can report that it has worked flawlessly so far.

I went and saw it. It was pretty awesome. There was only one time when I found myself coaching John Wick on how to operate the Benelli. He ran out of shells and needed one more and instead of throwing it into the ejection port, he closed the bolt, put one in the tube, and racked it. I will have to watch that scene again when it comes out on video, but I was not sure why he loaded that way. Maybe I missed something.
The first time he reloaded, he even flipped it upside down over his shoulder like I do. I was impressed with the gun-play in the movie. It is a must see.

+1 on the Tornado brush. It is a must have if you are shooting slugs.

...When the loctite starts to smoke pull the heater out and unscrew the mag tube.
Yes... the smoke is the key. That is your indicator that you have reached the temp at which the Loctite is breaking down.
