  1. Thank you SD for the response. You forced me to open the safe and re-confirm what I have. It is a 11718 and bolt carrier is silver; so I'm assuming it is NP3. I was actually thinking of my 11795 with the black bolt carrier. Thanks Again
  2. SO, if my 11718 has the black bolt carrier; it's cerakote ? I had Robar coat a DMW mag tube extensions in NP3; I just assumed the gun was NP3. If it is cerakote; the NP3 matches pretty darn close... I'm not sure what a receiver extension is...
  3. Thanks to everyone that has responded. Looks like the Mesa Tactical M4 Urbino is the winner. Unless someone comments to the contrary; I'm going to go with the Urbino with Limbsaver. Reducing LOP from 14 3/8" (?) to 12 1/2" should make it a lot easier to shoot. Thanks everyone!!!
  4. Thanks for the feedback.
  5. Anyone ever attempt to shorten the LOP on the M4 pistol grip stock? I purchased an extra stock to attempt this and my first inclination was to cut an appropriate length off the end and install a Limbsaver slip on... Unfortunately I read a few reviews on amazon and elsewhere claiming they are sticky and "walk" over the side of the stock after a few shots. Now I'm thinking of trying one of the grind-to-fit, but this involves purchasing a recoil pad shaping fixture and possibly a tabletop disc/ belt sander. Maybe I'm better off just buying a Mesa Tactical (or other brand) to simplify things. Any personal experiences, recommendations or opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  6. Yep, you got me on that one except you forgot the appropriate greeting... "Hey Idiot"
  7. You should go to Euro Optic's website and do a back in stock email notification. I bought mine there just before they ran out, but I believe they are a top distributor for Benelli and probably get some amount of preference for stock. I also found that ScopeList is an affiliate of Euro Optic and their website says next shipment expected in 2-6 weeks. I don't know when that timeline started, but you should do an email notification with them as well. In leaner times; they actually allow people to make offers on firearms, but the guy laughed when I asked if that option is currently available. You could always try though, but they may go out of stock again while you wait for the answer: NO.
  8. Thanks everyone for comments and suggestions. My anxiety got the best of me which convinced me I was going to eventually be denied. My FFL called this afternoon with the good news and my new M4s are home where they belong. He said about 90% of his submissions were coming back delayed. Sounds like the delays are running around 48 hours. Thanks again everyone; it always helps to vent this stuff out.
  9. Unfortunately, I do/ did not include SS # on the 4473 and I am regretting this to no end at this point. Can I ask my FFL to add it at this time or is it too late or no longer matters. In 35 years of purchases; I've never had this problem.
  10. It's now Friday, 2 days latter and I've been delayed since Wednesday night. I've read a couple articles claiming the longer the delay goes on; the more likely you will be denied. I personally know I have absolutely nothing in my history that would legitimately disqualify me for purchase. I've read about the appeals process and I'm sure not looking forward to that... I haven't ask him, but I don't think my FFL is willing to release after the third business day when it allegedly reverts to open and he could. Apparently, it's at the FFLs discretion; which to me means no way or I could get sued. This bothers me to no end and I feel like I'm being denied my property. Any thoughts or actual experience stories are more than welcome.
  11. Received my Arms Unlimited charging handles today and man do they look nice. Can't wait to give them a try. I'll tell ya; even if your not sure; for $10 these things are well made!
  12. Went to pick up my brand new M4, 11795s today and walked out empty handed thanks to a government bureaucracy known as the NICS. Apparently they did some early morning computer maintenance and as no surprise; the system is now not working. FFL is supposed to let me know when it's back up, but who knows when that will be. Even when you can legally purchase; you can't. Now I know what a felon feels like...
  13. I know this is an old thread, but wondering if anyone has purchased from Arms Unlimited lately? Some of the reviews scare me, but they have the charging at a really good sale price right now. Thanks
  14. I believe the fore-grip is Strike industries "Linked Curved Foregrip". Looks like blue is the only color currently in stock, but you can do a B.I.S. email notification for the other colors.
  15. Hopefully I'm allowed to ask this... ? If anyone has a pistol grip stock, 81040, collecting dust or worse; I might be interested in purchasing. I need an experimental subject for modifying to reduce LOP and adding one of the Limbsaver recoil pads; so condition is not that important. Thanks in advance
  16. Thank you everyone for your feedback. Sounds like I should go with A&S trigger guard and Briley trigger, but I will have to save up quite a bit of $$$. I'm not sure how you know which LOP to pick for the trigger though...
  17. If this has been discussed before; I apologize for the repeat and if yes; if someone could give me a heads up on where to find the post... Just looking to see if anyone has experience and/ or opinions on the Benelli, U.S. trigger group. Possibly a better option??? Seems like the A&S trigger guard is the way to go, but not sure about trigger. I purchased a DMW mag tube extension and had it NP3 coated, but hesitate to install unless I can "adjust" for 922R regs. Seemed like the U.S. trigger would be a slam dunk, but for the $200 cost; I would like to make sure I'm getting more than just a U.S. stamp. Thanks
  18. SD, Was reading the posts on the "What is H2O" discussion. Really appreciate your knowledge and insight.
  19. Agreed; very dangerous world out there... even now more than ever. Would not have to worry about that with EuroOptics; strictly a FFL to FFL transfer.
  20. Just a heads up; EuroOptics had several M4s in stock this past week, but I believe they are all gone at this point. The only reason I knew to check them is they had a 11795 on Gunbroker; so I decided I would check their website and was totally surprised to see they still had them in stock. I bought 2-11795s for retail. They are not price gouging. They even gave a discount for cash (ach) sale. They will also law-away. If it were me; I would go and select every one of the guns I'm interested in and hit the email notification. I believe they are at or near the top of sales for Benelli, so I'm guessing they would get some type of prioritized distribution.
