I'm not sure. I guess I'd assess to see what was interfering with the fit. If the attachment is the same as the polymer stocks with the rear sling plate assembly being what holds the attaching screw that interfaces with the bottom of the receiver extension.

I'd probably be all in if someone made a dark walnut stock set for the M4.

This is the post on FB. He paid $280 for the stock. I dunno nothing seems right about the whole ordeal

  2. Less-lethal ammo should only be used for professional use, as in law enforcement, where there's still a weapon with real bullets trained on the aggressor. Having it as a home/self defense load is just an all around bad choice.

Pattern different loads of buckshot, see what works best for your individual shotgun and needs, and keep it loaded with that.

I volunteered once to be shot with a less-lethal slug in the upper thigh. It hurts like hell, but mostly it enraged me to the point of going after the instructor, intent on removing his testicles with my hands. I was able to catch up to him and grab the collar of his shirt before he jumped over a table. Now if you add in the fact that you might be dealing with someone on drugs with even less pain reception, and will actually kill you, you're gonna be in a bad spot. Especially if that adrenaline kicks in and you're standing there pulling the trigger wondering why the gun isn't firing.

A partner of mine took rubber buckshot to the gut and had basically the same reaction.

So, to recap: rubber bullets in the force continuum for professional use = good. Rubber bullets for self defense =bad.

Stop trying to make things more complicated than they need to be.

  3. There's a notch on the receiver extension (the part that the stock slides on) between the 2nd and 3rd position. You hold the button and rotate the stock to the left, then it slides off. It can be a bitch to get it aligned properly.

I kind of like the heat shield and foregrip, but the curved buttstock is not my favourite and looks turkish cheap imo.

I don't know much about this model, I'm assuming this is just a "premium" offering from benelli for the M4 civillian market while still keeping the M1014 and standard M4 11707?

I think someone *ahemcough* should start making heat shields for the M4.

That's pretty darn good!  How easy was it for you to control the depth/pressure?  Fumes/smell?

A lot easier than I thought for controlling depth. I basically just did a bunch of light tapping at a slight angle. Fumes weren't bad at all, but I had a fan going to blow it all away from. Granted I was in a 60x120' warehouse ?

  6. I just decided to bite the bullet. Harbor freight iron with the standard pointy tip. Not bad for my first time. I'll do the other tomorrow, my hand is cramping ?

That's about as straight as I can get the lines sadly

I applaud you for wanting to try.  It's something I've always wanted to experiment with.  I have no experience but if I was going to do it I'd look here.

The tools will probably cost as much as having someone do it for you.  However, you'll have the benefit of owning the proper equipment to do it time and time again the right way.

Damnit. Thanks for sending me down yet another rabbit hole ?

  8. Scored a like new OEM set of M4 handguards on GB for $31.57 shipped.

Instead of sending them off for stippling I'm gonna try myself. I'm going to practice on some PMags then an old take-off 870 forend.

I've seen people recommend woodburners over soldering irons, which would you folks recommend, and what tips do you have? I know it's pretty much a straight ahead process but anything to help the process go smoothly is welcomed.

    Thanks
