  1. As soon as I can get some $$ free to spend on stuff I want but don't really need, I'm gonna order several things from you. At the rate I'm going you'll be receiving my order around this time next year 😂 I want the 6 position tube, the QD sling mount, and the riser.
  2. I don't know about the other one, but Midwest is extremely good to go.
  3. These are the only 2 pics I have on my phone. I'll try to remember to take some more this coming week
  4. I'm using a vortex venom. Very cost effective. I use one on my mp5 and my SBR also. Actually I switched to aimpoint on my SBR for using with mods. I put mine on a qd mount, on top of the factory rail. It's more comfortable for me.
  5. This is the post on FB. He paid $280 for the stock. I dunno nothing seems right about the whole ordeal
  6. On the FB page I moderate there's a guy that bought a "super rare" set of walnut furniture for an M4. He says the recoil tube won't work with the stock so he's going to put an sbe recoil tube in it. The furniture, I'm sure, is from one of the new black aces m4 clones. Anyhow... Will that work? @StrangerDanger @RxArms
  7. Less-lethal ammo should only be used for professional use, as in law enforcement, where there's still a weapon with real bullets trained on the aggressor. Having it as a home/self defense load is just an all around bad choice. Pattern different loads of buckshot, see what works best for your individual shotgun and needs, and keep it loaded with that. I volunteered once to be shot with a less-lethal slug in the upper thigh. It hurts like hell, but mostly it enraged me to the point of going after the instructor, intent on removing his testicles with my hands. I was able to catch up to him and grab the collar of his shirt before he jumped over a table. Now if you add in the fact that you might be dealing with someone on drugs with even less pain reception, and will actually kill you, you're gonna be in a bad spot. Especially if that adrenaline kicks in and you're standing there pulling the trigger wondering why the gun isn't firing. A partner of mine took rubber buckshot to the gut and had basically the same reaction. So, to recap: rubber bullets in the force continuum for professional use = good. Rubber bullets for self defense =bad. Stop trying to make things more complicated than they need to be.
  8. There's a notch on the receiver extension (the part that the stock slides on) between the 2nd and 3rd position. You hold the button and rotate the stock to the left, then it slides off. It can be a bitch to get it aligned properly.
  9. Okay, so what is it and where did it come from?
  10. I think someone *ahemcough* should start making heat shields for the M4.
  11. There's a bunch on GunBroker...
  12. I just saw one for sale for $800 somewhere but I'll be damned if I can find it now. Sorry. Good luck.
  13. I did my own with a soldering iron. Found a set of oem handguards on GunBroker for $30ish. Might not be quite as good as tango arms but they tired out nice enough.
  14. You left out the video you posted on Facebook of you violently shaking the unassembled gun, I see. ?
  15. That's a hard pass for me.
  16. Is there any true benefit to the aluminum guards, or just a personal preference thing?
  17. I'm not sure how lenient Benelli is with their warranty stuff, but I wouldn't have taken a file to anything. Should have contacted them and sent it straight back...
  18. A lot easier than I thought for controlling depth. I basically just did a bunch of light tapping at a slight angle. Fumes weren't bad at all, but I had a fan going to blow it all away from. Granted I was in a 60x120' warehouse ?
  19. I just decided to bite the bullet. Harbor freight iron with the standard pointy tip. Not bad for my first time. I'll do the other tomorrow, my hand is cramping ? That's about as straight as I can get the lines sadly
  20. Damnit. Thanks for sending me down yet another rabbit hole ?
  21. Scored a like new OEM set of M4 handguards on GB for $31.57 shipped. Instead of sending them off for stippling I'm gonna try myself. I'm going to practice on some PMags then an old take-off 870 forend. I've seen people recommend woodburners over soldering irons, which would you folks recommend, and what tips do you have? I know it's pretty much a straight ahead process but anything to help the process go smoothly is welcomed. Thanks
