  1. I have stippled a ton of Glocks over the years to give them more grip. Has anyone here stippled their Nova or SuperNova? I can't see how the plastic would react any differently to heat. I am going to chop down my Nova's stock and use the scrap from the stock as a test sample but I wanted to see if anyone here has already taken the plunge? Any lessons learned? I am working on a Nova pawn shop find I am converting to a SBS. Its project "cheap-scape" I bought the gun for $200 at a local pawn shop and I'll add a $200 stamp and pretty much be done. Here is a cheesy rendering.
  2. I love my Midwest Industries M4 rail too. Might as well toss that one into the mix. It is a great rail, very solid and looks great in my opinion.
  3. Hey @truegunnut I will take this. I'm sending a message now.
  4. Such a cool product. The time and effort you’re putting in to being innovative products to an older design isn’t lost on me. My M4 is an entry model so I won’t be able to try this but I LOVE how it will allow a “c-clamp” grip. So rad. I just ordered a M4 charging handle last night from your site. Keep it up man, your eye for details is what impresses me.
  5. Check the threads when it’s off and make sure nothing is binding before the end cap/nut seats fully.
  6. Did you use the Noveske QD?
  7. I haven’t seen that before, I would double check everything as I’m sure you’ve done. But once you lock the magazine tube nut the barrel should lock in place. I would think that would affect head spacing issues, not to mention other complications. is this a new gun?
  8. The real question is do YOU have a favorite? I’d be all over the bronze M4
  9. Snagged a field stock. Still hunting down a collapsible
  10. Anyone have a lead on an M4 collapsible stock? Been searching night and day... nothing.
  11. I have both and both are great guns. Beretta a300 UP wins on a few points as does the Benelli. Benelli m4: (mine is an SBS entry). Eats EVERYTHING you can put in the chamber. It's been flawless in reliability. Very fast cycling. Nearly maintenance free. Proven design. Can't argue with the combat history. Huge aftermarket support Ridiculous resale value. Cons: Not threaded for chokes. Every single part is expensive, like really pricey. Heavy. Rough edges, this gun bites me a lot. Not sure why. My M2/Nova/Supernova don't. The Beretta a300 UP Roughly half the price of a M4 Feels light in hand. Very nimble gun. I like the field stock its very natural to me, points well. Threaded for chokes. 7 plus one from the factory. MLOK Pretty set up from the factory for "patrol" use. Fast and reliable. Has eaten everthing too. Cons: Plastic everywhere... mag tube cover, sights, pic rail, sling mount/barrel clamp etc. Not much aftermarket support (but not much to change). Aggressive texturing... without gloves it can get painful on a long range day, especially with HOT loads. Handguard gets hot quick. Both are rad guns, however, if I had bought the a300 UP first, I doubt I would have ponied up for the Benelli M4... but I got a great deal on it and "had to have it" You won't go wrong.
  12. I’m not trying to smear anyone. But I’d always start with any modifications on a factory gun period, no matter who made the parts.
  13. If I made aftermarket parts I would be pretty sure it wasn’t my parts causing the issues either! Haha
  14. Can you list the models from left to right? I know a few but not all. I didn’t need to see this picture! Such a cool collection.
  15. Does it go away with the factory pets installed? That’d be my first place I’d check. Never had that on a Benelli and I’ve owned several, including a supernova
  16. I like to run my lights on scatter guns as close to the muzzle as possible and as high as reasonable for me to hit the switch… all with the least number of parts to make it work for simplicity’s sake. If you’re right handed I’d have the light on the left side of the gun. I like tape switches but on a shotgun I’m rarely using a “C” grip over the barrel, ymmv. I prefer a tailcap switch that I operate worth my left thumb. I know those SF pro’s rotate into position, I think you’d be happy with the factory mount on the side over the picatinny on top.
  17. Cool kids get the shorty. You know you want one.
  18. Wow, thanks for the quick reply. That is steeper than I expected. I appreciate the info, I might try to trade into a field stock for my pistol grip stock or bite the bullet and nab a collapsible stock when I see one pop up. JohnP that is a seriously nice looking boom stick. I appreciate it fellas!
  19. Hey there, I just got my Benelli M4 entry out of stamp jail and I am on the hunt for a traditional field stock to replace the pistol grip stock. If I can find a collapsible stock for under $500 I'll likely jump on it but I prefer a simple field stock. I can't seem to find one anywhere and would imagine this is a factory available part if I could find the correct supplier? Thanks in advance for any help on locating either of those stocks.
