Nikolai552
Sighted in my SN TAC with slugs that actually decided to hold a GREAT grouping! Federal Tru-Ball slugs and at 50 yards was getting 3" groups! It's about time a find a slug that works well!

bignotti
The Federal Flite Control buckshot is outstanding as well!
Nikolai552
I will have to try that flight control bignotti. They make it in 00? And Novaking, i was running out of time rather quickly and just lucky that those worked out so i didn't have to waste more money/ time to find one that works. Oh, that makes me happy to hear, because I just ordered some myself for my own (brand new) SN Tactical. One question: were those the "full power" or the "low recoil" variant? Nikolai552
Those were indeed full power. No low recoil for me.
bignotti
I responded on the newer thread before I saw this. Yes, it is available in 00. The flite control wad really seems to make a significant difference. The Federal Tru-Ball slugs and Flite Control 00 buckskshot are now what I use. I haven't been able to duplicate the accuracy or the groupings. If you are hunting and want extended range, the Dixie Tri-Balls will be hard to beat. Period!
