No, I keep my M1 as dry as possible during the cold months and it's never frozen up. The M2 won't either.

Use very light applications of good quality CLP, like Breakfree.

You should experience no problems... especially in GA.

CLP in moderation has been good in the cold north too. All froze up here so the season is basically done, good luck down south.

No porblems with my Super Nova. After shooting each and every time gets broken down and cleaned extensivly and lubed.

A fella on the cabelas forum said he had problems with the action slowing down in the cold. He said he took it apart, cleaned it up and sparingly oiled and has zero issues since.

Teens are rare. Twenties are common. Thirties are normal. But it usually the humidity mixed with cold that gives us problems. Wet cold.

23 degrees in bridgeport, texas last night. humidity was 63%, wind 22 mph out of the n. west.= wind chill of 16 degrees. date 12/06/2008. humidity is what makes it so cold here, it gets into your bones as soon as you get in it. the coldest ive seen it here so far was 7 degrees.
