tucker301 Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 I want to know if the hen was actually dog paddling like that or just special effects? The report was that she was indeed paddling towards a small island on the lake, where another turkey was calling to her. The back side of the island was much closer to the shore than was her side. It is speculated that she and the other one were trying to get together and they figured the island was a good halfway point. It was closer to halfway for one than it was the other, and she probably started flying, but ran out of steam or got caught in a wind gust, and swam it in from there. Quote
