I just bought this new M4 with telescoping stock and shot it for the first time today--:D!!

The stock is a little jiggly--is that normal? If not, how do I tighten it?

Jiggly? It shouldn't be jiggly ... you may notice a SLIGHT play from side to side, but not noticable when shooting or shouldering.

If you can, something is wrong, in my experience with 3 different collapsbile m4 stocks.

Yeah, by "jiggly" I meant "slight play from side to side". And no, I didn't notice any "jiggliness/play" when shooting. So, my gun is "normal" then?! That's good news...

I dunno. There is no movement in mine at all once it locked into the tube groove.

when I said SLIGHT I meant "hardly moves at all, but will a little if you force it".

If it's wobbling around, something is wrong. Either your buffer tube is milled to the wrong specs or the stock is not made to the right specs, or something is broken or not installed properly.
