Great mod! I know this post is old, but what a cool mod! How do you like the Surefire M600c? I am debating getting one for my m1. I like the forend lights but 60 lumens and incadecent... nope.

 

Now 120 lumes of LED- that's great.

The M600C is awesome. They've finally be rerated to be 200 lumens now. The only real negative about it is the price.
