I can't get a hold of anyone at Benelli that seems to know this... Looking for an exact size wrench, I am sure one exists, how would they put them on at the factory... [email protected] Quote

kmc0929 Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 well thats what I used. is it really a very low torque type thing, because mine stripped at about hand tight. the fit of that wrench just seems a little off. almost like it needs to a be a 5.25mm wrench. Quote
Super33 Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 A 5.5mm (7/32") open ended midget wrench is what you will need. That's a tad big. I just installed my mepro sights today and used that same wrench. It was a little loose so be careful when you're tightening it down. LOVE the sights though. Quote

TacticalKoala Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 It is an acorn nut they are tapered. Take it off throw it away and go to Lowes, Mernards or any place that sells every nut known to man. Take your site post with you and find a nut that fits without having to pay through the nose for it. Reinstall with green loctite. Quote

I suggest buying a couple of them for a few $$ at the same time you order your sights. It is a good back-up if you round 'em. I consider it a 1-time use as stated due to the nylon insert. Quote
