Short M4?

Some guy posted his M4 with a collapsable stock, and it looks like the barrel is the same length as the foregrips. I have never seen one like this, has anyone else?? Less rounds...but all around, smaller

I have never seen one THAT short. That is shorter than the factory version of a M4 SBS. Obviously custom as they cut down the magazine tube as well as the barrel. If you are going with a SBS, might as well do it right. Bad ass PDW.

I have seen those. They are not factory SBS guns from what I understand. Usually an 18.5" cut down. You can tell because a factory SBS has a thicker profile at the end of the barrel.

 

Note the end of the barrel on this M4 vs the one you posted.

Yep.

 

Look at the wood to the right of where the barrel ends ... obvious select / layer via copy / duplicate 10x / flatten image to drag the end of the barrel over, then a little smudging to get it flush.

 

Whoever did that shoop either wasn't trying to hide the fact it was a shoop (likely, as the name of the picture IS "m4theory", so it was probably mocked up to spark conversation) or the person doing it was terrible.

 

ETA - Here, I had to have some fun with this ... this is how it SHOULD be done if you're gonna shoop a picture.

Some people have actually cut down M4s, although this one might be an altered photo.

 

I have a factory M4 SBS, but the barrel is a 14", not a 12" like the pic you posted would indicate. The 12" are a 4rd tube, and my 14" is a 5rd tube.
