Is there any reason I cant just remove it by using snap ring pliers and removing the snap ring and the sling mount? I installed a QD sling & flashlight mount combo and the factory sling mount is just in the way now. Quote

StrangerDanger Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Yes. Once you remove the snap ring, the sling mount will slip off. It then can be reindexed to whatever position you want. Then reinstall the snap ring. Quote
