KB Fab Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Does anyone have a product that works for touching up the finish on their M4 barrel? I did a little experiment with BC Perma Blue with less than stellar results. It's obviously not a huge deal but I'm hoping that there is something that will get close to whatever finish is on there. Thanks. Quote
stinx Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 I had a local refinisher re do my barrel in Ceracoat. I think it was under $60. Business end Customs in Tewksbury Ma. Turnaround was 3 days. Quote
vern4t5 Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I used liquid aluma hyde years ago on my shooter. The finish was a little rough on my gun (M4) so the aluma hyde looked different for a short while, but blended in very well after a little while. I just bought a new can to do some touch ups on my other M4, but I haven't used it yet. I bought it here; http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/cid=0/k=aluma+hyde/t=P/ksubmit=y/Products/All/search=aluma_hyde YMMV -V Quote
KB Fab Posted May 7, 2011 Author Posted May 7, 2011 Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I ordered some of the 44/40 and will try the Aluma=Hyde if that doesn't work. Quote
kingarmory Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 We can refinish your barrel and mag tube for about $75 including return shipping. Parkerizing + Duracoat or ceramic Quote
