nerdboy
So I shot my gun this weekend about 100 rounds through it and I broke it down today to clean it. Everything came apart fine but the gas cylinder plugs wont come out. I'm assuming this isn't normal. Any thoughts?
12508
They can be very tight. Do they appear to be cross threaded? If not try to get some leverage/an extension while using to the bolt handle to turn them.
KB Fab
If you have them unscrewed but they are still not wanting to come out, it's most likely the o-rings. Just keep turning and gently pull outward and they should come free.
Zeke
So this happened to mine. When I first purchaced, I had a **** of a time removing mine for the first time. I had to get a long screw driver to get leverage and get them to break free. I actually thought that I was going to break or damage them but they finally unscrewed. Now they come appart easily. Yeah they won't unscrew. I broke my leatherman trying to break it free. Should I just soak it in pb blaster or kroil?

Jackalope
Yes, them especially. I'm just kidding man. Mine were a ***** to get off the first time too. I dont see why the charging handle can't break them loose. Sorry you're having issues man, you'll get em off eventually.
Zeke
Can anyone give me an answer?...anyone? You need to find a long thin screwdriver that fits just right into both of the holes. Slide the screwdriver tip into the holes then turn counterclockwise. Trust me, I had to ream pretty hard to get mine to pop. Maybe I can try to take a picture of how I have the screwdriver inserted when reaming. Remember counterclockwise !
Unobtanium
Kroil and a long screw-driver and next time I suggest using choke-tube lube/grease on those threads. I always do and have never had an issue that the bolt-handle wouldn't solve.
AirBull
I'm in the same boat, just brought my M4 home last weekend. The one I bought was the last one they had, and it was the demo and thereby already assembled at the store. Does Benelli assemble these from the factory? Seem's like Tony is using way too much torque on these.

Wiggin
Same issue with me. First time cleaning the gun and can't unscrew the tubes. I'll try the screwdriver method.
