deckedouthemi
Maybe a dumb question but I have a SBE I with a rifled barrel. Do they have an ER Shaw barrel or is there a way to find out if it is?
truckcop
If it's a Shaw barrel it will be marked as such.
deckedouthemi
Where and with what? I thought I read somewhere that not all the barrels are marked and you have to ho by the year the gun was made? I could be wrong but figured I would ask. OldFlick
If it has open sights it is no a Shaw barrel.
GoBow
Don't know about that. I contacted Shaw a couple years ago and they told me that they made SBE barrels with open sights. Had some sort of problem with the sights, so them quit making them that way. Also said that they made SBE barrels with 1/28" and 1/36" twist rifling. OldFlick
Shaw made a 1/36" barrel for the Black Eagle, with sights. All the SBE were 1/28" and no sights. I have had Shaw make barrels for me and have talked to them often. I also have had the Black Eagle 1/36" and it was not impressive. Don't know about that.
