ucrane Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 What can be done to prevent gel pad from falling off a sbe11 or a supersport? Is benelli doing anything to fix this? Quote
NoTox Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Do a search on posts about this problem. I believe guys were cleaning it with alcohol and then using a silicone adhesive. Or just use duct tape! I have never had problems with mine. Quote
Golden Bear Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Brownells carries an adapter kit for Benelli's to install any recoil pad on you gun for $29.95, but it doesn't work on the SS or a SBE II Comfort-Tech stock. All Sport Tech makes a Recoil Pad Replacement Kit for the SS & SBE II C-T stock that sells for $17.00 + $3.00 S&H. AST can be contacted at 734-717-5390 or [email protected]. Hope this helps with your problem.--GB Quote
Drundel Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 I think Benelli said they made some out of spec and would replace yours. Call in and check. Quote
coltchris Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 ucrane: I contacted Benelli Customer Service about the recoil pad on my LH SBE II and they said they would replace, but backordered until at least March! I even asked for the thinner pad as my LOP is a little long. No problem; other than long wait. Quote
tucker301 Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 coltchris, I received my 14" LH gelpad today. Hopefully, yours is on the way. Quote
mudhen Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Hey Tucker, Where did you order that pad from? mudhen - CA Quote
tucker301 Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Benelli CS. Same as coltchris, I asked for a shorter LOP pad as my replacement for the loose fitting original. This was in January. They told me March and they delivered. Quote
coltchris Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Received my replacement gel pad (shorter LOP) from Benelli today to replace loose pad. Requested in Jan. and promised in March. They delivered. THANKS Customer Service. Quote
