DC DOG Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Is it just me or does it seem not that many companies are making replacement forends for M4s anymore? I know there are a few high end ones out there (like $300), but I was looking for something more along the lines of the previous Surefie model. Any suggestions appreciated! Quote
StrangerDanger Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 The market has moved towards dedicated mount solutions to minimize weight and provide better ergonomics. Quote
NoTycoon Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 I have a Mako Quad Rail Forend - light internal modification to keep gas pistons from touching the forend; pistons now function perfectly. I also removed the bottom rail to improve the feel of the grip. Retail $80, Sell $40 (plus $5 to ship) Quote

NoTycoon Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 I see the "Mako" is now sold as the Fab Defense BM4. I have one for half price. Quote
