itsquirt
Have a new M4. What chokes do I need for both slugs and 00 buck?
Redweirdbeard
If you go to benelli’s website it has all the information you need about this topic. It’s under the faq section.
Scout_21
Modified is a good compromise choke. Otherwise cylinder or improved cylinder if you're mostly using slugs. But honestly from what I've read it comes down to your specific barrel and ammo and experimenting with chokes to see what works best in the end for you. STATMATT
https://www.benelliusa.com/customer-service/faq#question_1394 It specifically says it is not safe to "shoot slugs through chokes tighter than those listed here. 4 notches = improved cylinder 5 notches = cylinder
12508
Just use what the gun came with. You will be fine. I have a M4 I have been shooting for 11 years with untold amounts of slugs with no problem.
