I’ve been searching this and I’m confused. I’m new to the M4 and M1014. I’m looking to purchase a M1014 limited but want to get the telescoping stock. Is this something that can be done? Sorry if this question is ignorant. Also, any issue changing out the mag tube for more capacity? Thx guys

you can get the collapsible stock and add it, but the price varies from $2-400, if you want to add the full capacity mag tube, if you run the collapsible stock you'll beed to replace 4 parts for American made parts to be compliant with 922r, somebody correct me if i'm wrong.

Not quite. Waiting to make sure I can find a 3 position tube

If you are not totally set on the 1014, there are several other models that already have the three position tube.

Which ones have it? Than I would have to find a stock which isn’t easy, right?

My 11707 does for sure. The current 11715 does also and comes with the adjustable stock and 7 round magazine.

Do some reading here in the forum, there is a ton of information comparing models and the adj. stock topic.

I have also read some owners of the 1014 have had notches machined in  their tubes. Another alternative for you.

get one with everything
