M4 Front Sight Retaining Nut

I got the alert from Midwest GW last night after 1am my time that these were finally back in stock.  I was going to bed and figured I'd put together an order with it and a few other things in the morning.  Already sold out!
 

What the heck?  Either they only got like 10 of these in or people are hoarding them.  Ridiculous!

Neckbearding the sight nuts! You can get by bu just using blue Loctite on the nut.

Does anyone know the thread size and pitch? Appears to be 3mm x 0.5mm. 
Should be available for about a nickel at hardware stores or on line. Might not be black.

I measured mine, it is 3mm - 0.5

I did make it myself with a Dremel tool and a drill.  I did the same to the rear BUIS by drilling out the two white dots. I have sold all to another member on this site.
