Juliett Whiskey
Hello all.. brand new M4 owner, heck, brand new shotgun owner. A few questions for the experts.. 1, is it ok to dry fire an M4? 2, is it ok to drop the charging handle/slide via the button release.. kinda slams forward, which I like, but will this hurt anything? And lastly, are dummy rounds ok to use for training? Thx in advance everyone!! Juliett Whiskey!!
NCswamp13
I'm definitely not an expert but I've own an m4 for about 6yrs and I would say yes to all those questions. The only guns I dont dry fire are rim fires, dummy rounds are excellent for malfunction training and the bolt release is there to be used. Enjoy your new shotgun! Juliett Whiskey
Wow! Simply wow! Straight outa the box and she handled about 50 light loads, bird shot and about 10 #5’s.. not one hiccup! One happy camper here! Does anyone know if you change out the magazine tube ( mine is 5+1, looking to get a 7+1) will this void the warranty? Thx in advance.. electric7
Hey Juliett, wanted to mention I have found a lot of oil in the mag tube from the factory. Would be worthwhile to get in there and clean that out.
