crostiger Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 so with in a box of 25 have to tighten chokes at least once got a replacement choke coming not sure if that will help or not. But the difference between the muzzle threads and the threads on the chokes is .031 doesn't seem like that much room have a couple different types of grease coming but wanted to get some other opinions. StrangerDanger Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 I’d recommend you get a Briley choke tool wrench. You can torque it much tighter than the oem one. Get the choke grease while you’re there. They sell a bush for cleaning the choke threads if you want to go all out. 1 Quote
crostiger Posted March 22, 2021 Author Posted March 22, 2021 I picked up the benelli wrench a little while ago still comes loose Quote

crostiger Posted March 23, 2021 Author Posted March 23, 2021 how tight it to much i can go pretty stupid tight with the benelli wrench Quote
StrangerDanger Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 Tighter than what you're doing now apparently! There is no real torque spec. that I know of. Using the grease on the threads does allow you to torque it a bit tighter with less chance of it unscrewing. Quote
Unobtanium Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 When you loosen the choke, it should "pop". Also, use choke tube grease. It will ensure that you can loosen it, lol Quote
crostiger Posted March 24, 2021 Author Posted March 24, 2021 that's how a couple others that have chokes are different systems but with the same pressure on the wrench but this im almost leaning on the wrench and will still come loose still waiting for the grease to come in. Quote
