falloutboy89 Posted May 30, 2021 Posted May 30, 2021 Need some help... I’ve owned many shotguns for sporting clays over the years and the one I’ve always shot the best is my pump Super Nova. It’s not even close. I’ve had Browning O/U’s, other semi autos, even a Super Vinci I bought for my son. I just can’t continue with a pump since I can’t compete with true pairs. So, my question is... is there a benelli semi auto that would be considered closer to the super nova in terms of weight, handling, etc.? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Quote
jimbo45 Posted May 30, 2021 Posted May 30, 2021 How about a supersport performance shop? Friend had an ethos that was pretty nice as well. Quote
falloutboy89 Posted May 31, 2021 Author Posted May 31, 2021 Supersport is what I was thinking as well. I’d love to shoot an ethos also. Quote

falloutboy89 Posted May 31, 2021 Author Posted May 31, 2021 Is it listed on here? Is there a classified section? I’ve never noticed it. Quote

remarkable Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Second the vote for the SuperSport from the performance shop. This is truly a great sporting clays gun. The price is very fair, these retailed for 2899.99 or better new. 1 Quote

A classified section would be a great addition to this site. Even if only for Benelli parts and pieces. I think it would be beneficial for all. Kind of a one stop shop as opposed to endlessly searching the web for that elusive and usually over priced part. My 2cents 1 1 Quote
falloutboy89 Posted July 9, 2021 Author Posted July 9, 2021 Well, I got one. Picked up a new Ethos Super Sport with the 30” barrel. My lgs ending up having some in stock. I was shocked since I was having problems finding them online. Can’t wait to shoot it. Quote
electric7 Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 I think the weakness of many a Benelli is the lightweight comfortech stock and plastic forend. Was thinking of replacing with a wood set on my M2. I think that would help the balance, but never got around to trying it. Quote
