IWC mount lighting

Hello,

So I have the IWC light mount, and I was wondering what is the best light to get for it.  Pretty sure the one I picked up has the rail optional as well so what ever works.  I’m not inclined to use that if I don’t need to.

also since I have never done this, I am wondering if the light I buy is going to have a way to be mounted included?  I just see two holes or a rail.  Something has to stick it to that.  Is there something else that needs to be picked up or will it come with.

If you buy a Surefire (not pro), Modlight or Cloud Rein they will have the "scout" interface.  You can also use after market light bodies that have a scout mount.  IWC, Arisaka I think, maybe others.  Your IWC light mount should already have the mounting screws I believe.

The IWC mount does include the screws. I’m running a Surefire M600DF with the IWC mount. I unscrewed the M600DF from the factory Surefire picatinny mount and, using the screws supplied with the IWC mount, loctited and screwed it on the IWC mount. Super easy and a great solution I’m very happy with.
