Need Help

My SBE shoots low and right about 6". I have had others shoot it and I have shot it while mounted in a good shooting vise. Consistently low and right.

How do the little shims work, what is the purpose of these parts and are they difficult to change?

PLEASE anyone help me figure out this low and right.

THANKS  [email protected]

The shims that I think you are referring to won't affect your point of aim. They are simply to adjust how much drop your stock has to it. I think they can also be used to adjust the length of pull.

What are you shooting - slugs or shot shells? What loads and manufacturers? and at what range?...we'll need some parameters in order to give better advice.

...at least it's consistant at this point.

Are you using a aftermarket Hiviz or similar. If you are the diameter of those types of magnetic sight are larger than the original bead. Thus the further you are shooting the lower you will be patterning. As far as shooting to the right, it sounds like you shoot a shotgun like me. When patterning a shotgun it is difficult not to pull to the right when preparing for the shot. Try shooting some light loads to get confident with shooting "On A Line" then go to the Turkey loads when you "know" you are on target. I am shooting Hevi Shot #6 with a Briley Hevi Shot choke tube. This setup throws great patterns out to 45 yards. I am sighting with a ATN digital display.
