After a couple of very great duck hunts, my finger behind the trigger guard became sore from all the shooting. I thought I saw a post where someone recommended some type of gel ring product that you could buy at Walgreens. Did I see the post on this forum or was I dreaming?

I took a file to my sbe2 as there was a sharp place where the stock fit to the action. The shim stuck out just enough to scape the skin off between my middle and trigger finger. I just smoothed up that area and no more problems.

Yes, I was using shooting gloves. I did find a product at Walgreens. It is a gel filled bandage for your toes. You just cut the top off and slip it on your finger. Works fine... In reading other forums, some shotguns have a gel pad behind the trigger guard.
