slsail Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 what has a higher resale valuew sbe2 with camo or black?? thanks Quote
CH/QuakerBoyProstaff Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Always Camo, as long as it's factory applied, and not "homemade" take care Chad Quote
mudhen Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 It depends on the condition of either version at the time of sale. A heavily worn camo gun looks pretty bad and will not hold it's value as well as a perfectly kept black gun of the same age. I have cleaned up black guns with Breakfree CLP and they look almost new. I have seen one year old camo guns that look like crap. Fully functional, they just don't look that great. Just my take. Quote
buck_uncle Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 it is hard not to find a 3 or 4 year old sbe that hasn't rusted because the finish is poor. Quote
tucker301 Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 it is hard not to find a 3 or 4 year old sbe that hasn't rusted because the finish is poor. No it isn't. All I had to do was open my gun cabinet and there it was! Like anything else, if you give it some care it will last a long time. Quote
CH/QuakerBoyProstaff Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Back to the original question, were you questioning a new or used sbe2? I was referring to a new one. Quote
slsail Posted September 5, 2007 Author Posted September 5, 2007 So I guess the new question is how durable is the camo finish on a m2 or sbe2 Quote
Remy Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 In my opinion....... a black gun is more desireable for several reasons.......but that is just what I think! Quote
