DawgByte
I purchased a Cordoba with a 30" ported barrel and would like to get a 28". Does Benelli sell barrels separately and if so how do I get one? Thanks, DB
HOGWILD
ask the dealer that ya bought gun from or call Brownells for special order, Benelli only sells to Benelli Dealers
DoctorW
I think they do sell barrels separtely, but it could be really expensive. For example, Nova is $300, but a barrel is about $250. And a barrel for SBEII would be $400-$600.
DawgByte
I called Benelli and the customer service rep said they don't sell separate barrels for the Cordoba, however they do sell them for the Montefeltro line. The only question I didn't get answered was whether they come in the same matte finish as the Cordoba.
DawgByte
Scratch that... I called Benelli back and got someone who knew what they were talking about. Consumers can buy Cordoba barrels separately. I now have the part number. Currently they're sold out and won't be in stock for 90 days. HOGWILD
So chopping off 2" is going to cost you how much and who sells them? Hope it's worth what ya pay but i feel you allready know that answer! gotta be 1/2 the price of the complete Cordoba!
DawgByte
It is cheaper than buying a whole new gun. If Bass Pro had the Cordoba in 28", that's the gun I would have bought. One way to look at is... the 30" is great for driven Continental Pheasant, Ducks and Geese and the 28" for everything else.
JEFFRO67
I doubt you will see all that much difference in 2 inches of barrel. my 2 cents worth.
