Shotgunner Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 How much does a nova weigh? Benelli says 7.9 but I think its lighter. Does the recoil reducer work? Is the gun good for pheasant hunting. Quote
Andy Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 I just bought my Nova and it's right around 7 pounds. I didn't buy the recoil reducer. I'm guessing that adds close to a pound or so. [ August 18, 2003, 12:41 AM: Message edited by: Andy ] Quote
NOVACarl Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I never really weighed my NOVA but i did get the recoil reducer. One day my brother and i shot about 10 rounds each of 3"-3 1/2" buckshot and slugs we were both bruised and shot shy. After installing the recoil reducer we could shoot 3"-3 1/2" all day! I would say it reduced felt recoil 2/3 a great investment! Quote
