What is the most frustrating,or anger inducing thing to ever happen to you while turkey hunting on public land?

someone tried to take my decoy when I was hunting. Boy did he get a ear full.

What is the most frustrating,or anger inducing thing to ever happen to you while turkey hunting on public land?

 

 

I never had a problem really as I never hunt places opening weekend that doesn't require a quota permit so where I usually hunt early in season is limited entry.

I have had ranchers try to chase my hunting partner and I off of BLM land when I was stationed in South Dakota. This happened several times.

Ranchers can get crazy! I had the same problem last year on a private lease I belonged to.I'd be out hunting and they would drive right up and ask me what I was doing!

I don't hunt public much, too much public on public land.

 

The worst problems for me, by far, have been encountered in Iowa. The morel mushroom is king in Iowa, and no one seems to care if mushroom hunters come onto their land to search for them. I paid $600 one year for a three day hunt only to have hunts broken up 5-6 times by mushroom hunters. On private land I paid to hunt on

Are those mushrooms really that good? I always see people going CRAZY over those things.On a couple of hunting videos,you would think that they struck gold when they found them!

I had a guy stalk up on me, gonna shoot him a bearded hen. I think he was drunk.
