Big shout out to StrangerDanger for finally bringing my M4 to life after almost a year in the safe and making it functioning how it's meant to be!

No mechanical issues. It was just the standard american flag M1014 model. I had the 3 position buffer tube added, trigger pack assembly and follower added to make it 922r compliant and also the 7 round magazine tube.

Thanks to all for the info and insight on this one. Please know that in this circumstance, I would NOT necessarily use this piece of kit to only break glass with... I totally get that the "Almighty M4/M1014" can more than take care of most matters, as I've been quite a few "gov't funded international trips" where I've had to put it to actual use. thats a useless piece of kit designed be 'tacticool' if you ever need to break a window, the muzzle is more than capable

I consider that to be in the toy category, not something for a serious professional weapon like the M4. Save your money, buy more shells.

why would you need to break glass in HD situation? That said, pretty sure you can also just swing the gun itself or the butt pad to break any glass.

They are both great shotguns. 1301 doesn't have track record as M4, but very reliable. Amazingly light recoil for light gun.
