  1. This can easily be designed to stop the handle from over inserting. I have made this design on mine, it cannot be overinserted, it is simple engineering where the handle tapers to the pin, when properly designed the handle cannot go too far (even when the detent is not engaged). Surprising that some manufacturers continue to have issues with over insertion.

  2. @rubicon20032003 You know, it is interesting- when you look up that company, https://www.sarca.it/aboutus they are based out of Italy, and if you go to their ‘about’ page they talk about how they were founded by Beretta group, that all Beretta double stack mags have been made there since 1989, and that they also make wood stocks for them as a beretta group contractor. Guess I will see what I get when it arrives, worst case scenario I am out 89 bucks. . .

  3. I recently acquired an HK imported M1 Super 90 package. It came with a PG stock, straight stock, 20” barrel, 26” barrel, and optic mount. The proof mark on the 26” barrel is AS, which as I understand dates it to 1987. It has several upgrades, a GG&G magazine follower, oversized safety, and anti walk pin, optic mount, etc. Also has Velcro on the left side of the receiver and came with 3 shell cards. (Not sure I am gonna keep that in place). It was sold as LE Package, and the original paperwork verified that. Not sure if it was a Benelli, HK, or LGS package. The seller got it from a local retired LEO. I have been trying to locate choke tubes, as I understand they are the 2nd gen tubes, not Mobil or Crio tubes. Any ideas on where to find them? Wondering about the optic mount….I have read adding weight can affect reliable cycling. I plan on adding a small mag tube rail to mount my light, but don’t want to add too much weight Would removing the Velcro by soaking it in Goof Off or Goo Gone and carefully using a plastic scraper be a good idea? Thanks for any info

  4. No relation, but heads up that if you are looking for a M4 field stock and dont want to pay Freedom Fighter Tacticals current inflated price of $325, there is a seller on Ebay listing showing the correct part number 81041 field stock. Shows 3 in stock after I went ahead and ordered one, so hopefully it will be as advertised. Figured for that price worth a shot, as I have been looking for the field stock at ‘normal’ prices for a while now . . . https://www.ebay.com/itm/125018242743?hash=item1d1baafeb7:g:5gYAAOSwqOdhnV7d

  6. By deep I meant, close to the receiver, the thing I guess you are trying to rectify with making it a bit longer. I have the stock bolt release button so it's perfect on my gun. To tell you the truth, I'd like the length of mine but the smaller diameter of your new one. Everyone has their own idea though for sure. I like the one I have as well, no complaints
