  2. I'm not paying that for a stock. I don't want one that bad. He opened the pre-order up Sunday and raised them another$100 when they where already overpriced.

  4. Greetings just stumbled across the forum and decide to join. Looks like good streams of information to help me enhance my M4. I fell in love with the M4 back in 1999 when I was in the Corps and they let’s us fire them for about 3 days as part of the integration of the weapon to the FMF. LOVE at first sight. Hopefully I can continue to expand my knowledge of the weapon system on this forum. In addition I have a 1301 LE and a Super Nova tactical. Keep the good info coming. S/F

  5. Yes metal spreads heat nicely and quickly. So by heating the front evenly your going to heat up the threads of where the tube sits and separate the loctite. By not heating the tube directly the tube does not expand with the heat and you can unscrew it easier. Don’t get me wrong it will be getting some heat, But the end you unscrew from won’t be nearly as hot. Neither of mine had much loctite in them. Both were purchased in 2021. Others have have had varying results.

  7. I got 1301 for the same reason. I didn't want to miss out what some people kept saying is better than M4. It is much easier to load 1301 for sure, let alone double load and quad load. I can hardly imagine people speed-loading M4 in competitions! As for loading M4, I learned to keep my thumb fully bent and rigid, and use the forearm strength to load, instead of the thumb strength. I am not sure if I can still do so when I get order and have arthritis someday.
