You will need to change the Magazine Spring if you would like it done correctly - Why, you will damage your Carrier Latch with usage. I replace 8 - 10 Carrier Latches per year - most common cause, extended magazines that are not setup correctly. Some after marketers of these products have very little understanding of the cause and effect because they never deal with the effect - bent carrier latches.

I finally got my hands on one of these Agency Arms rails to take a look at in person. One of the benefits of bringing in a lot of peoples builds is I get to check out all the new accessories without having to pay the price of admission. I've used a lot of Agency Arms components in other firearms, so I was hopeful for this rail to be one that was actually a win for a change. The rail itself is well made, it does have some significant set backs that aren't entirely Agency's fault, but more along the lines of working around the Benelli M4's ARGO system without making the rail too big. I'm not a huge fan of the need to disassemble the rail in order to access the ARGO system. This renders the gas system inaccessible in the field unless they happen to have brought a torx bit with them. Basically if something needs screws, this is an armorer level job now and not meant to be messed with in the field. Most of the MLOK sockets are unusable. Many of the sockets ride so close to the ARGO system that mounted items do not have the clearance to cam lock. I fixed this with a few railscales panels by profiling the cam lock and screw with a concave grinder shape. Thinning the cam permitted the cam to rotate and not make contact with the ARGO system. Still a pain in the ass. The rail was not removable with several of the railscales in place. The rail would hang up on the cam locks. So the end user would have to remove several of these panels or other devices mounted in order to remove the rail to service the ARGO system. Ergonomics are better than the Strike Industries or the Surefire M80 rails. Ergonomics sucks compared to the OEM handguard however. Even with premium rail covers like G10 railscales, the OEM wins hands down. With any rail, you're paying a weight penalty by equipping one. One must consider what benefits you're receiving by adding the part. With the step back in ergonomics and weight penalty you're facing, personally I would recommend using an IWC weapon light mount for your sling and weapon light needs. Placing sling mounts on your handguard is a step back in ergonomics since they tend to interfere with your hand placement. On this build we will be adding an IWC front sling/light mount as well to use the sling mount. If you have Trypophobia, you probably hate this. Reprofiled cam lock. Look at all that clearance to the ARGO plug!

Greetings Just a few lines to give my props to Mesa Tactical. A few weeks ago I purchase an Urbino pistol grip stock with limbsaver. While at the range on Friday 2/4/22 the limbsaver for some reason cracked. I called on that same day (Friday) and the kid in customer service was outstanding, needless to say today 2/7/22 I got a new limbsaver for the Benelli M4. I will continue to use them, with pleasure. Bravo!

It’s a MOA Precision clamp. I don’t need a QD or Pic rail on my clamp so wanted a minimal one that doesn’t touch the barrel.

I have a M3 and wanted to do the same (add the 2 round extension). It will not throw weight off as they offer it that way from the factory. I searched high and low for months, and could not find the Benelli kit in stock (wanted to keep the gun all OEM.) I used a SuperNova extension kit for a while - it fit/worked; it just was a different length and did not have the barrel clamp in the right spot. I finally got tired of the bastardized setup and purchased the full length M3 tube, nut, and the plastic parts from Midwest and swapped the whole thing. Contrary to what I read online, the plastic pieces did not melt when heating to remove the threadlocker (I bought replacements just in case as they were relatively inexpensive.) I like the full tube better - the extension made removing the barrel more of a hassle plus the look is a lot cleaner. I used the barrel clamp from the Supernova kit. I also swapped the stock with a telescoping one from my SuperNova, and am really happy with the final results. Below picture is from Benelli (mine has different stock.) You can see how the full length tubes looks in comparison to the extension.

Several reasons... 1) the AR love was driven hard by GWOT. GWOT is winding down. 2) Market saturation. The AR market is saturated to the point of absurdity. Look at Aridus Ind and FFT. They have niched their way into mainstream by supporting solidly the shotgun market. I bet neither could have even touched the AR market with this level of success. 3) Democrats are in power and people want something 50 state legal or future proofed or maybe even their local laws have shafted them.

I enjoyed Mike’s review of both M4 and 1301. With Limbsaver pads on both, recoil isn’t bad on either. I love both of mine. Wonder why there’s so much shotgun love lately.

The holes are the same on all the benelli shotguns, including the hunting models. The only one that is different is the M1014. It has an extra hole (5 holes) for strength but a regular rail (4 holes) can fit on the M1014.
