Does anyone have any experience with Dave's Metal Works Magazine Springs? He included one with every extension he sold. I have one I bought 2nd hand that included the spring, and it is the FIRST time I've seen a flat wire spring for the benelli M4! It reminds me a little of Tubb's Flatwire AR buffer spring. IT measures around 28" long and seems to have decent tension to it. I emailed Dave about it and he described it as follows, Not sure what "Rocket Wire is", but it sure sounds high tech. When fully compressed, there is actually a hair more space in the tube to load rounds than the sorter factory spring when compressed. Was trying to look up first hand user accounts of it and someone posted that he bought the extension and used the spring, and that the spring was "junk" and started giving him cycling problems after a time. Didn't check the date of the post, so not sure how old it is. If anything, I would think that a spring like this would function better! Does anyone have any experience with this spring or know anything about rocket wire? I think it's cool that there is actually a flatwire mag spring available for the benelli m4!

Picked this up today and so far I’m pretty impressed. I am a Surefire guy but I liked the idea of the quick detach so I don’t have to have it on the M4 when I don’t need it. I only wish it tucked in more like the Surefire. Anyone else have one mounted differently?
