  2. Hi all, just wanted to share in case anyone is looking for this. the T-Pro model comes with a different bolt release and seems like it’s hard to find. Well, I saw a picture of it on X-ray parts listed as bolt release for the M2 but it’s actually the same one as in the M4. I installed it and it’s perfect. https://xrayparts.it/en/benelli-spare-parts/4365-bolt-release-button-for-benelli-m2-benelli.html

  3. Sorry If this sounds rude, not my intention, but this forum is about the Benelli m4, you’d have to check the Panzer forums to get a better answer.

  4. If they haven't already worked on it, you might see if they can re-expand the dent back out. That's something akin to sticking a circle plug into the barrel, that then concentrically expands pushing the dent out. Sometimes heat needs to be applied if the dent is big like you described. Being at the end, it might make that process even easier. A barrel might be too tough for wood, but you might be able to take a hardwood dowel that has the right diameter, but plane down the side so that it just fits inside. Then, slowly heat and rotate each way and see if the dent works itself out. Here's a great video from Midway on their dent removal service:

  5. Update.. Got my M4 back from Benelli after a little over two months (Dec 4th-Feb 14th) and finally got it to the range. I'm happy to report I ran 118 shells of 00 buck from a few brands, mostly Winchester, without a single failure. According to the report from the tech they changed out the extractor and deepened the extractor cut in the barrel extension. I wish I could say my trust in my M4 has been completely restored, but I think its going to take a few more range trips for that. I'm a pessimist, I know. More like 98% restored..;) Thanks again to everyone for all the previous input.
