welcome Mudboy,two phillips heads screws in the rubber buttplate need to be unscrewed ,remove the rubbber buttplate ,then theres a shaft that at the other end is a 13mm bolt that you unbolt and carefully remove the stock,refer to your owners manual its real easy.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>M1014

hi Newbie,the M4 stocks do not interchange with the M1 series receivers,the M1 super 90 Practical Model has a pictanny rail with scope mounted and functions fine in my expierience.Your department should have full access to all M1014-M4 equipment.The M1014-M4 Benelli shotgun is a true gas man-----------seeya M1014

Oracle&STS The man who gave you the info on the M1014 is incorrect ,everthing he said is opposite of his info to you.I've never had a malfunction on the two M1014s that I've shot,or heard until now, about any,,the weapon handles and fires great,it can take lite, heavy, loads,anything,The M1014 is a very high grade weapon ,theres no fooling around with replacing anything,springs ,ejectors etc.I breakin my Benellis with Magnum loads to assure full cycling,then go too other loads,Bennelli has a minimum load breakin requirement too.I'm sure you will have fun at the range,threeshot would make a great M1014 owner************peace my Benelli brothers M1014
